Dr. Babacar Gaye,Founder, Young Coders Academy

I have been pursuing my passion for computer science since high school, as I always found it as a means of progressive learning, that helps nourishing a logical thinking mindset and that due to its limitless boundaries allows for creative expression. I am a PhD in Computer Science and Technology, who started the captivating journey of Young Coders Academy with a lot of enthusiasm and constant work of self-improvement while overcoming the challenges and obstacles that came along the way. The philosophy I bring towards programming for kids is focused on the applicability of coding since an early age.
At YCA, we incorporate interactive sessions and experiential learning when teaching programming principles to our students and encourage them to achieve a creator’s mindset and go the extra mile to develop their own digital works of art! All our curriculum is developed and designed by a team of engineers that I am leading, focusing on the latest innovations in the EdTech industry, while making sure to include elements of interest for young coders. We nourish the curiosity for learning how to code and encourage our students to become young entrepreneurs!
